Ruth Peart

Soprano

Known for her cross over work in both classical and music theatre, Ruth Peart has studied voice for fifteen years. Ruth graduated from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music with a Master of Music degree in Voice Performance where she studied with Professor Kimberly Gill. Ruth also holds a Certificate in Vocology in which she is able to teach singers through voice building techniques. Ruth has had many successes as a recipient of the Margaret Speaks Vocal Scholarship from Ohio State as well as the Artistic Excellence award from the Jacobs School of Music. Ruth has performed in many productions with the Madison County Arts Council of Ohio, Jacob’s Opera and Ballet Theater, Ohio State Opera and Lyric Theater Department and more. She currently serves as a soprano schola member in Columbus’s Saint Joseph Cathedral Choir. In the fall, Ruth will be attending Ohio University to pursue an MA in Speech Language Pathology.
